MY STORY
WHERE COLOR IS CENTER STAGE
“The first time I mixed turquoise with cadmium red and watched them dance, I knew I couldn’t quit.”
It started in the in-between moments—when the kids and the rest of the family were busy and the house finally went quiet. That’s when I found myself reaching for color, sketchbooks, scraps of paper—anything that could hold a little bit of what I was feeling.
Art journaling came first. It was never planned or polished; it was play. That freedom, that sense of following the brush instead of the rules, has stayed with me ever since.
For me, painting is an intuitive journey guided by a love of spontaneity and connection. I never really know where a piece will go—and that’s the best part. I work in a constant state of experimentation and discovery, combining color, form, line, and design without ever fully abandoning representation. Acrylics, oil pastels, pencils, bits of collage—they all have a place here.
The process is where the magic happens. Each layer feeds my curiosity, challenges what I think I know, and pushes me to stay open. Artistic growth isn’t optional; it’s the heartbeat of what I do.
I hope my art leaves you with a sense of wonder—and maybe a smile—just as creating it does for me.
These days, you’ll find me painting in my Delray Beach studio, surrounded by stacks of journals, brushes, and sunlit chaos. Every piece begins as a quiet conversation and, hopefully, ends as one that continues on your wall.
